Kataeb Party — 'A Lebanese Vision: 178 Steps Towards a Better Lebanon' (2022 program, English edition)

Sovereignty is a constituent principle of the State. The institutions of the Lebanese state fell under the grip of Hezbollah, which controls the sovereignty aspects, launches drones independently from the legitimate Lebanese armed forces, and has been engaged in regional cross-border conflicts at the service of the Iranian agenda, leaving Lebanon isolated and sanctioned.
Defense and National Security: deploying the army along all the Lebanese borders including the Palestinian camps; completing the armament of the Lebanese army; implementing UN resolutions 1559, 1680 and 1701 restricting arms to the legitimate Lebanese armed forces, and returning to the armistice agreement with Israel; preventing any Lebanese citizen from participating in hostile acts outside Lebanon.
Foreign Policy: adding to the constitution a clause stipulating Lebanon's permanent neutrality; reviewing Lebanese-Syrian treaties and abolishing the bilateral Security and Defense treaty; an amnesty for the Lebanese who left to Israel; bolstering the Arab Peace Initiative (Beirut 2002) and the Palestinian right of return while rejecting their naturalization. Elsewhere: a civil state, abolishing art censorship, decriminalizing homosexuality, abolishing the death penalty, a 30% gender quota.
