Statement by MK Yitzhak Goldknopf, chairman of United Torah Judaism (Agudat Yisrael), on 26 April 2026, reacting to the same High Court of Justice decision conditioning a range of Haredi state benefits on regularizing military-service status. Translation: "A ruling over which a black flag flies [i.e. a manifestly illegitimate decision]. This is a grave crossing of a red line and a direct blow to the heart of the Jewish identity of the State of Israel."
