اعلن رئيس المجلس الأعلى الإسلامي، عمار الحكيم، اليوم الإثنين، انسحابه من قيادة المجلس وتشكيل حزب جديد بإسم "تيار الحكمة الوطني"، مشيرا الى ان تياره الجديد يعتمد على الدماء الشابة.
وقال الحكيم في كلمة متلفزة نقلتها شبكة رووداو الإعلامية، ان "نشكر اخوتنا في المجلس الاعلى الاسلامي لتحملهم معنا في السراء واضراء ونعلن تشكيل تيار الحكمة الوطني".
مشيراً ان "الوطن بحاجة لتيار سياسي يحتضن الكفاءات ولا سيما الشابة التي تجمع بين الاصالة والتجديد وينطلق في نظريته الاقتصادية من تحرير الاقتصاد من تحكم الدولة". …
مؤكداً، "أنها ولادة جديدة ،يستحقها العراق وتستحقونها انتم الأوفياء كي تداووا جروح هذا الوطن ،وتنطلقوا بمشروعكم الوطني الجامع وان تكون ساحتُكم الكبرى العراق وحدودُكم في الانتماء والكسب لتياركم الوليد هي الوطنية الصافية والعشق العراقي الأصيل فمن ملوحة مياه الخليج حيث الفاو الصابر إلى قمم جبال كوردستان الشامخة ومن عمق الاهوار إلى نواعير حديثة ليكون مشروعكم جامعا شاملا محبا متسامحا، ولتكن الوطنية والإخلاص لهذا الوطن هي قياسكم ومقياسكم…".
مبيناً بأن "عراق 2017 يختلف كثيرا عن 2003 وعلى القوى السياسية الفاعلة والمخلصة ان تعي هذا الاختلاف مثلما وعيناه نحن في تيار الحكمة الوطني ". وتابع ان " نشكر الجارة ايران وقائدها السيد علي الخامنئي وشعبها الابي على مواقفها الكبيرة في دعم العراق وكذلك المرجع الاعلى السيد علي السيستاني والقوى السياسية الاخرى".
